Keeping Compliance

Compliance is a word that we hear a lot, but don’t necessarily understand fully.  What it means by definition is conforming to a rule, policy, standard or law. What it means in cybersecurity is that not only are we meeting a baseline policy, but we are proving it by supplying artifacts such as a Plan of Action and Milestones or a System Security Plan; trust but verify.

Why is being compliant in cybersecurity a benefit to my business?  The answer is simple: peace of mind in regards to asset protection.  Now, being compliant doesn’t guarantee you won’t have any issues arise, but it puts you at least one step ahead of the bad guys by showing you where the issues are so you can be proactive to remediate rather than reactive.

Our dashboards are specific to the NIST 800-171 compliance guidelines, which are notoriously known as the “gold standard”.  Not only this, but the dashboards are both easy to understand and able to be filtered down to your specific needs. The dashboards were built with the out-of-the-box integration mind set, which enables ease in meeting the compliance standard.  Let’s say you use G-Suite, for example. With our product, you will be able to plug right into your currently used platforms and have instant results (after an initial scanning of your hardware configured to the network) of where your vulnerabilities lie.

NeQter Labs has designed our product with you in mind.  We want to harden your system for you so that you can guarantee your customers you’re doing what’s best for them as well.
